We are licensed for 55 children and have an infant toddler program for children from 12 months to 3 years, a multi-age care program with children 2.5 years to 5, and a three to five year old program.

​We also have an Out of School care program servicing children from kindergarten through grade three at Lord Kelvin Elementary School.  We are open from 7am until 6pm.

Out of School Care summer program rates increase for the summer months to the over three fee rate and include field trips, classes, materials and transportation costs.  Extra days for OSC professional days are $50-$60/ day, activity dependent.

**We are a part of the government fee initiative program.  The fees you see are the centre's total fee, followed by your parent portion.  Children from zero to 12 benefit from this initiative.  Updated September 2023.

registration and fees

A refundable deposit is required for a confirmed space only, and is based on how many days your child is registered per month in the daycare program. This deposit will be refunded to you by cheque, provided we have received 30 days written notice and there are no fees owing. Deposit fees are half the cost of the fee space.  There are no fees for going on the wait list or registration.

​​St. Barnabas Daycare maintains a waiting list for spaces in all programs.  Wait list forms are dated and families will be placed on list in order of date of form.  Families are contacted once a year, to update their need for childcare and they are contacted for a space when available.   Priority lists are in place for children who are currently enrolled in St. Barnabas and their siblings.  Apply here and it will go straight to our inbox.
